Yeah she'll be fine, it's just freaky when there's nothing you can do about it.

At 6mo my son caught his middle finger in a door. I was at work didn't see him for 12hours while a plastic surgeon came in and reattached the top digit.
It was the worst thing I have experienced as a parent helpless and alone as my wife took him in. He's fine no issues at all but in the moment it was devastating.
Just hug them love them every chance you get.
