Cool tech. Without a doubt. Will it solve real problems? Let's see. I doubt it. It will open BTC to all sorts of custodial scams. I probably would prefer to use it on top of Monero for extra privacy. You don't need L2 for custodians to function on L1 meant to grow with demand like XMR. You need to put trust into the custodian/collateral anyways.
