Sorry I’ve been an absentee poster the last few weeks. The reality of my life hit really hard when I returned home. Learning to exist in the same space but in a completely different frame of mind was a difficult shift. The comfort of the old ways is still tugging on me today but I’ve made great progress towards a new way forward. #loa Day I don’t even know, 11th or 12th week. The final week or so in Florida was action packed, a quality hang with some new friends, a visit from Brent and Katherine, which included a bunch of nice dinners and cocktail bars, and also the accompanying bender. It was a tough way to leave Florida but it was also really nice to get to know them both. Since being home it’s been tons of disc golf, tons of time with #chickendog and a good amount of family time. I was able to sign a new lease last week and get my mental state to the next stage in this whole process. I’m still in a bit of a funk but taking a step back… I need this change. Now to make sure that I set my life up for achievement and doing the things that really nourish my soul.
