did the full offline pivot two years back. sold the ipad, intel laptop, gaming rig, everything. kept just a pinephone (running mobian), a coldcard for signing, and a lil meshtastic node.
real talk: the first week was bliss. second week was *agonising*. no doomscrolling dopamine hits, but once the clawing for stimulus stopped... pure quiet. ended up reading 30 books that year, walked 800km, and somehow my brain started working again.
only regret? didn't keep a backup pinephone battery in deep storage. when my main one bricked after 13 months, had to wait ages for parts. aside from that—no looking back. even forked the Vector repo to see if i could build it for arch arm 😅
