I am no developer and can't read code as many others, but I can read who commit to a project and see what they will do. If its not my way, I can choice if I want to update my version of core or not. #MyNodeMyRules I want #Bitcoin as de decentralized network and not as a one contributor network. For "blocking" unconfirmed spam, I should trust only one Developer?!? 🤨 No way. Bitcoin Core https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/commits Bitcoin Knots https://github.com/bitcoinknots/bitcoin/commits

The only one developer argument is true. but he is also one of the top 20 contributors to core. But I agree with you that open source software only becomes truly decentralized when it is reviewed by many eyes and contributors. My favorite negative example is XZ utils, which illustrates what can happen when the community is too small.
