of course they did and there is nothing we can do about it . if we want to actively involved on the society , and up to date with way of living , we really can not avoid this . the only important questioned i asked my self is : to which big tech i trusted my data with more privacy in mind.

Defeatist attitudes like this allows authoritarians to steamroll the population like they have with us. Be the change, it's really not hard. You actually gain a lot socially as you begin to focus on in-person socialization and minimal phone usage.

Wanted to add that GrapheneOS lets you reject permissions for every app. It's the app marketplaces that request these, not the app developers.
