Man, The Dream Hotel had such potential. I would've love to hear more about the 23rds. The idea that we're incarcerated because an algorithm deems us a threat (a la Minority Report). How does my youtube viewing, social media posting, emails, and shopping history flag me? Am I watched even more when I have no data? Is no data more dangerous than having data, because it makes me stand out as an abnormality? There was so much to explore, but man, it was kind of a slog to get through, and the story was not as interesting as it could've been.

I kinda liked how it was done by a non technologist. I agree with your response btw, she doesn't go into detail, but that's exactly why I like it. Cory Doctorow is probably the opposite of this. He goes into all those questions. And then I feel like I'm reading non fiction. But thanks for reading it based on my recommendation. Some of these questions I think I can fold in to my talk next week, which I am about to record here so it's perfect timing thank you.
