The ones in power will definitely try to preserve the fiat system but with the skyrocketing debt I doubt it can go for very long. We will see. Elon Musk is saying the only way out is AI and robots to work hard and increase GDP ... but all the layoffs are already creating huge problem.

Agree. I just think there would have to be some seriously dire conditions before the sheeple wake up. We still all have it way too good. It’ll take a while yet.

The debt isnt an issue, its already monetised. The issue is the illusion of wealth people have eg, with their houses.. once this falls, the real pain comes.
