Inception is real, what the movie talks about is true. You can have a dream inside a dream and then wake up level by level. I've experienced stuff like that a few times in my life, but last night it was crystal clear. I heard my alarm go off and got up to shut it off, since my alarm clock is always somewhere away from my bed. Then I figured I was awake. I started thinking about what a super long dream that was, it felt like it went on for days, like a whole story spanning multiple days. So yeah, it's true that time moves way slower in a dream within a dream. Then the alarm rang again and I woke up for real this time. I was like, huh, why is the alarm going off twice? So I got up again to turn it off. Next thing I know, I'm sitting on the edge of the bed feeling completely out of it. No clue what day of the week it is, no idea what went down last night before bed. Totally disoriented. It took me minutes to snap out of it and realize it's Saturday, the kids don't have school today. But I thought I'd slept through morning prayer. Turns out I didn't, I got my usual four to five hours of sleep. Crazy shit. Oh, and by the way, I don't drink alcohol, don't do any drugs. I never even need coffee in the morning, I'm usually sharp as a tack right away. But man, this morning I was really out of sorts.
