Beyond this case-pair intuition, using β to represent sats has two big advantages over all the other proposals I've seen: - Availability: β has shipped in Unicode since 1.0.0 in 1991. It renders in essentially every general-purpose font (including monospace), and is reachable through standard input methods. No new glyph design or OS support needed. - No collissions: Doesn't collide with the principal symbol of any active national currency.

This is good idea , don’t known if masse can understand the significant difference in symbols or in values . Hope they do . 😁
That one I can agree on. The icon is too detailed imo and is not really a symbol. Still better than Bitcoin symbol as sats The beta symbol is a much better idea but it needs established meaning to use, and that requires usage as with any new symbol
For me all Good . It’s better to hold a bit of that and about of this . Eth, BTC , USDT ,or whatever . This is digital Economy and blockchain as a whole we talked about . Kebab pasta chicken rice all good
I have a draft written. Tried to get talk going on the mailing list to eventually get a BIP number but I believe they filtered it because it's not technical discussion.
