> That person is still himself and very well defined
are you talking cohost, or are you assuming my gender in this the year of our Lord 2025 ๐ค
im guessing you mean the cohost? but i was thinking about the image we carry with us every single moment of our life. even when dreaming. what if it was fundamentally wrong. sure it works, we can use it to get through our day
but what if it was completely *wrong* what if it is not who we actually are

Is partially wrong because we do not know every part of ourselves in a conscient way. We are, in fact, surprised by our own reactions when instinct kicks in. We know our inner voice better than anybody else, we know what we think better than anybody else, we do not know what we will do under pressure and in dangerous situations. The fact is that we are not a static being, we move in relation to the external inputs of the world. We have a generically correct knowledge of what we are going to do in every situation we experienced, we have a partial knowledge of what we are going to do in situations we just tested in our imagination, we have no idea of what we are going to do in every other situation.
So it is not wrong, is partial as is partial what other people see about us. Limited by the few interactions they had with us.
