@ODELL your boldness is appreciated as anything outside of self-custody contains counter party risk. The timing is laughable as I just helped my daughter set up a Bitcoin Roth IRA on Swan to max out 23/24 contributions prior to an ETF approval but Truth prevails!

I’m an UC customer. She is a 25-year old teacher with a limited budget. Therefore, the UC $900 set up fee was a factor plus she was already DCA’ing on Swan. To get her motivated, we split the 2023/2024 max Roth contributions and I guaranteed her portion of the investment against losses through 2024. We got it done between Christmas break & New Years Day. Orange Pill your kids, they will eventually understand…plus her inheritance will largely be in bitcoin!!!

You sound like a great dad! I got a 6 & 3 yr old, the youngest of which just randomly yells, "BITCOIN"! ..so they're on the orange plan too 😆 The upfront UC cost was a tough pill to swallow, but I had moved a trad roth ira over to iTrustCapital before everything melted down. Then realized I needed custody before they went under too, figured I'd rather eat the fees than loose everything
