Inflation makes it expensive to research innovative solutions to solve problems the world is facing right now like lack of infrastructure in certain places. Right now the funds only go to research which increases the bottom line. In a #bitcoin standard, it will get easier to get funding for research which doesn't necessarily increase the bottom line.
