Every major shift in empires, societies, and cultures has generally come with a change in the calendar system. We currently use a solar calendar, but it was common in the past to use a lunar, or luni-solar calendar too.
Perhaps Bitcoin will be the first calendar system that humans use which is not based on the celestial bodies.

Bitcoin time is based on the definition of a second, which in turn is based on oscillations of cesium atoms, NOT celestial bodies. Humanity made this transition before Bitcoin's existence.

so we use a cesium calendar?
I debated whether or not to put 'only' before "on the celestial bodies." maybe that leaves room for the 10 min aspect of blocks.
A calendar is not just a time measuring device, it is also a space measuring device, and a measuring of the cycles of time. all seconds are fungible, except for those experienced by consciousness.
