Nah, I’m done doing all the hard things. I’ve earned the right to do some easy things. I’ll do whatever I want at this point in my life.
I’ve done a lifetime of hard & it didn’t work out as planned. Why? Because the top 1% have enslaved the 99% & we are incapable of uniting and demanding better.
I’ll choose whatever I want at this point.
That’s the privilege of a life well lived.
Others can disagree all they want.
I’ve lived by the rules society dictated & still have suffered losses like all others.
I choose to recognize that the world is corrupt & seek to make it better.
This doesn’t require that I do anything different than what I’ve always done. I’ll continue learning & donate my resources to others & attempt to lift others when possible. All the while understanding it’s a losing battle. That’s life.
I’m not going to tell anyone that they aren’t living their best life just because I don’t agree with them. Too many people are already claiming to understand far more than I can. I don’t desire nor want to be a leader of humankind ever again.
I’ve led people. Most don’t genuinely care about other humans. It’s that simple. I’ve recognized this & can only control myself. It’s truly that easy. If others took self-accountability seriously the world would change.
I’m in my forties & have raised fierce children to adulthood. They understand the world is corrupt. They seek to make their lives better while understanding the world is not fair. Too many seem to think the world owes them something.
Fact is the world has always been unfair and hard for the majority of humanity. Most people want a quick easy answer & it doesn’t exist. We must accept that there will always be hard times and good times.
Let it be.
