Mary, a young virgin from Nazareth, betrothed to Joseph, received a divine visitation from the Archangel Gabriel. He announced that she would conceive a child through the Holy Spirit, a son to be named Jesus, who would be the Messiah. Despite her initial fear and questioning, Mary humbly accepted God’s will, declaring herself the servant of the Lord. Her "yes" changed history, bringing salvation to the world.
