I don’t believe in luck. It’s a mental crutch. Luck makes it easy to explain why things didn’t happen for you. It makes it easy to explain away other people’s successes. The truth is some people are better than you, they’re smarter than you, they work harder than you and they position themselves for opportunities better than you. Everything is knowable. Right now at this very moment someone out there knows the thing that will make the next thousand billionaires. You could know it too. If you chose to. If you did the work to know. Luck is not a factor.
