my issue with this image is on the conceptual level..... Bitcoin is not a weapon, bitcoin is the infra structure of the new financial world in which bitcoin aka CODE is law. For me, Bitcoin is not something you throw at the public, rather its the ground on which humans take back their intrinsic value through abundance, love and peace... but it is a hidden ground -- so it's our job to make it seen.... make the invisible visible so to speak... the code of the cloud is not a gold coin to be flung at another.... ouch.
Great question— for me it is conceptual— as a former UX DESIGNER and information Architect it is ALL about mental models —- we all know mentally what it might be like to throw some flowers— they are relatively soft and light — indeed they may blow themselves out like overblown rises with petals falling everywhere— but a coin—- is made of metal and therefore can become a weapon —how often have you seen someone throw coins at anything other than into a fountain… or the ocean as I was advised to do in Mobay Jamaica 🇯🇲 in the springtime… it’s the embodied experience that creates that mental model for me… your experience may be quite different but in doing user research one might discover that we share a common mental model…
Okay, let‘s perceive the metal coin just as a symbol of the immaterial wonder, that bitcoin could bring to the people. Have a nice day!
