This doesn't mean bikeshedding every proposal to death. It means picking a problem to solve, proposing solutions, choosing the proposal that makes the best tradeoffs, and committing to its activation.

what solution do you have in mind? if it was possible to do a scalable L2 wouldn't have been done on ethereum already?
