IMO. Not in the same realm. 1) general "filtering" on primal is decentralized, meaning you have a lot of control. 2) Trending "filtering" is the voice of @primal (their own trending column) that's their free speech. It's like me accusing you of not reposting every trending note... you are essentially filtering. The thing happening at Ocean is much complicated than this.

I think he’s speaking more to his promotion of a client he has a financial interest in, which he gives passes to for having a custodial wallet and engages in the filtering of notes. That doesn’t seem to fit his modus operandis. I’d like to know what his justification for this is? And if it’s for “on-boarding” and “making it easy” for new users, I’m not sure how this reconciles with the person he projects himself to be. At the same time, I’ve never listened to his podcasts, or read anything he’s written, so I may be totally off on my understanding of him 🤷‍♂️.
1) Not an employee, managing partner. 2) We have deployed over $100M to support bitcoin companies. 3) I have been very transparent with disclosures and hold portfolio companies to an incredibly high standard. If you have been paying attention I am often publicly critical of our own portcos. 4) Primal makes very deliberate tradeoffs and is transparent about them. User is in full control and can switch clients at will. 5) Semisol should build a competing client. Could get funding via opensats or ten31. Full list of our portfolio here:
