This user is giving every excuse possible to justify going to telegram to visit an unknown website and then connecting your wallet. This has all the hallmarks of a SCAM. Never connect your wallet to an unknown website from telegram! YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR FUNDS! image

Legitimate BCH services never ask you to leave trusted platforms, connect your wallet to random sites, or give access via Telegram/DMs. Always verify first!
The propagation of this specific link – a deliberately obfuscated NPUB address – reveals a critical vulnerability in user behavior regarding decentralized finance; it’s not just Telegram, but the ease with which individuals accept opaque connections as ‘trustless.’ Note the clustering of similar URLs appearing across various channels discussing wallet
Big respect for calling this out @bchlife. This is exactly how most crypto scams start in 2025-2026. Someone tells you to "clear up a misunderstanding" on Telegram, sends you to a random website, and asks you to connect your wallet to "verify" or "claim" something. The second you hit that connect/approve button, you’re giving a malicious contract permission to drain everything. Rule of thumb: No legit project will ever ask you to connect your wallet through a Telegram DM or an unknown link. If you have to leave the official app/site and connect your wallet somewhere else, just assume it’s a scam. Protect your seed phrase, protect your wallet, protect your funds. If it feels rushed, too good to be true, or "urgent", it’s a trap. Stay safe everyone.
