We are transitioning from Marmot to Concord Protocol, a new encrypted community protocol designed specifically for Vector with massive benefits, one of the downsides was having to wipe all previous Marmot-based groups.
This will be the last “wipe” we ever do, Concord will evolve with Vector beautifully, an article dedicated to Concord Protocol will better explain all of this shortly. 💚🤙

Also, any plans to distribute the APK through other app stores? Google may be tricky but what about F-droid?
Absolutely. We have already applied and have a Google Developer Account, but have been waiting for once we feel the build is not only stable enough, but polished enough for Android users—first impressions are everything there. F-Droid is immediately on to-do list now that v0.4.0 is out and we spent a lot of time refining the Android experience as well.
