I don't use Pirate Bay! high malware risk.. always was.. yes even with multimedia files, you can sometimes see the malicious file next to the multimedia file before you click download, I assume it's there for clueless people who don't know better
That must be a rare case. I did see an .exe in a movie folder once. If a windows users knows how to torrent, I'd be surprised if they didn't delete the .exe right away, or use their client to not download it to begin with. That seems low-risk to me. The file isn't going to run itself.
