A head of state should represent the entire nation, not publicly declare allegiance to a specific ideology, religion, or foreign political movement. Doing so risks disenfranchising large portions of the citizenry who may not share that belief. In a constitutional system, the executive’s role is to execute laws and policies set by the legislature, not to elevate personal ideological commitments above the national interest.
