We started in early 2023 and there weren’t any Nostr-based options at the time to do real-time group messaging. We've discussed switching to an alternate system but moving an entire community isn’t easy, and need to make sure whatever we choose will stick around.
The Telegram group is optional, you can just be in the Amboss group if you want.
