So Bitcoin Core v29 will go end-of-life towards the end of this year. If for some reason you feel reluctant to upgrade to v31 (and v32 this fall), don't be! Just ask your favorite LLM to fetch the latest source code and "remove the corruption".

End-of-life means that if Mythos finds a way to crash nodes, the fix is likely backported to supported older versions, but not that one. So you'd be a sitting duck. That said, the rule isn't set in stone. There's been a few instances where fixes were backported to very old releases, e.g. the inflation bug back in 2018. Because some companies were still on the old version and couldn't quickly update their infrastructure.
