Agreed, It’s the same reason why strangers support us more than friends. Friends started at the same place and it forces them to reflect on their own failures. Bitcoin is such a friendship killer lol they get so salty even tho we tried to save them. It’s like Thomas sowell said it best “people will forgive you when you’re wrong, but not when you’re right and it proves their position incorrect”

Bro I literally led multiple people to the promised land. Minted millionaires. Only to watch people fumble it at the goal line. So frustrating. I learned through it all not to intervene. I’m happy to offer advice if asked these days, but mainly just stay quiet.

I can only give the advise to not reflect this directly to new people coming into your life.
