No dude, a broadcast just sends the note out to more relays, it doesn’t “boost” The note to the top of everyone’s chronological feed. A “repost”(boost) not only broadcasts a note to your relays, it also changes the chronological time on the relays putting it at the top of everyone’s feed. Broadcasting is used to get a note saved on more relays and therefore make it more searchable. Renote/repost/boost is used to increase engagement.
