What exactly happened with your original nsec that made you create a new nostr profile?

While transferring key to another device we accidentally copy pasted into search so presumably it’s stored in someone’s logs. We still have old nsec at hand and checking from time to time if it was used.

Just putting your nsec into the nostr search would compromise it? Is that because your search history is public if someone looked up your public key? Kinda like how DMs are not private if someone uses your npub they can look into it?
