For these folks, BTC and crypto are unfortunately just tools for mixing and adding some indirection between politicians and the real donors. The real financial power behind those donations is the US money printing machine. Crypto is doing some of the worst money laundering that even Big Finance, which has made money from some of the most awful stuff in the world, still will not touch, mostly because the Jamie Dimons of the world still have political ambitions of their own. IMO the economic power of bitcoiners has nothing to do with any of this, other than inflating the crypto market and making sure there is enough liquidity to keep it all going. I see no good news here, for bitcoiners or non bitcoiners. Once democratic institutions and the state violence apparatus are under their control, I can almost guarantee that the techno fascists will eventually turn against BTC holders. We will likely see many real bitcoiners having their BTC infrastructure pen tested with a wrench:
