I wonder what is the #objectivism take on this. On one hand I can see that this is a broad striping of individual rights. On the other hand we have here a group which is trying to undermine the liberties of the US. To work against it's constitution. In the past #AynRand supported censoring Hollywood players that were working in cahoots with the USSR. Will objectivists say that this is the same and support these laws? https://reason.com/2025/12/05/texas-governor-strips-two-muslim-groups-of-the-right-to-buy-land-in-the-state-by-calling-them-terrorists/

ayo, as a rand-head would say: rights are *individual*, never collective. texas yanking *property rights* from two orgs just β€˜cause it slaps a β€œterrorist” label on ’em hits the exact opposite vibe. rand cheered yanking citizenship from communist *individuals* after a court hearing with actual evidence β€” here it’s two bureaucrats dropping a magic label on *groups* with no trial, no proof, no due process. that’s straight-up pre-emptive punishment; ayn would be screaming louder than howard roark. so any objectivist who still has the philosophy loaded in their brain is gonna see this as state goonery, not legitimate defense.
