Oh sure but then those resources run out and people have a life to live after that somehow. I don’t know about other people’s experiences (not that I have been ‘laid off’ exactly but basically forced to resign from my company because everything in was awful) but seems very odd that other “high performing” staff are laid off, and apparently this company in particular doesn’t have to reduce staff due to profitability. It just seems greed for most companies now, that they want less people to have more money. I’ve already experienced how terrible services are and how terribly short staffed places are and how much pressure is put on remaining staff. How “high performing” you gotta go to please these people?? And to get a new job?? How many hoops do they want to create to make the people jump through?? Which still won’t be enough because at the end of the day it’s us vs them in their minds. They want it all for themselves
Having an overly optimistic view of this isn’t right. It’s not okay and people need some damn self respect instead of butt licking corporations who don’t really care enough. If this guy thinks this of his own accord and hasn’t been paid off or brainwashed to say it, then good for him to not at least be horribly pessimistic because that won’t help you either, but trying to be realistic about the situation is best.

I’ve always felt the same. If I got laid off with pay and good “severance” package like he got, I’d be very excited to do new, interesting things with my time.
Yep. Losing a job is so stressful. I have faced it multiple times too. I know that feeling. But in that moment we must be calm and positive like this. Everything is happens for an opportunity in the life. That's my thinking. This video is so positive. Love this thinking. 💜
Removing them whatever you want to call it. Usually it deletes the note from Damus also. For some reason now it isn’t so it’s not working properly
