Humanity will fork into many separate societies just like how Bitcoin forks. In the future we will have a fork of Bitcoin with tail emissions, which I have in the past been in favor of as a hypothetical part of my ideal Bitcoin if it had been invented my way. But this fork will be supported by people completely ignorant of the higher order economic implications of this as well as of the ethical considerations. It is taken as a given by Peter Toad (one of those somewhat less human people from whom we need to isolate or with whom we need to debate and call out the bullshit) that block space won't be sufficiently demanded in a stable enough capacity (without defining what makes the block pacing stable enough) and that the only way to stabilize it enough is to subsidize it with a slow steady stream from hodlers' purchasing power. He also has zero respect for basic human rights of course so, what do you expect other than him trying to override all arguments and force people to change their minds and run his fucked up ideas.
Many of my fellow millennials have sort of this sense that we understand tech and got to see the natural progression of the more complex devices, and that future kids would have a hard time understanding and appreciating these things. Unfortunately that is massively compounded by irresponsible parents and by the public school prison system. However, at least this means that only the strongest minds (most curious, logical, or otherwise resistant to bullshit) will survive and carry on the cultural and technological understanding. Kind of really sad state of affairs actually, but the human race is antifragile. Just wish that fewer of us were irrational cunts who are hardly human at all. We need better spam filters on humanity. Cut the losers out of your life, and do not care what they think about you.
