Never trust anybody with blue hair.
That pretty much sums up the whole problem with core. A woke takeover was unfortunately successful. It all started with a PR to remove the word "blacklist" from the code (I'm not joking). Interestingly, I remember Lopp was one of the more vocal devs in favor of it.
