lol im not gen z im just autistic but i feel that, my mother regularly trying to call me instead of texting despite i asked her a thousand times altho she can text to my sisters, its like she intentionally just doesnt give any fucks lol altho i would rather call her back than answer when she is calling XD phone calls are overrated like yeah thanks for calling i am in the middle of something 100% of the times when i am not talking to someone already, thats why they invented fuckin text messages, if you want to call you can still ask when can we talk lol why is that difficult XD
