Oh so I can run my own eth node and use it to transact with my friends without an intermediary?
Because that's how we measure harm to the banking system.
ast I checked you couldn't do that with eth at all.
But I run several Monero nodes and can transact with people on nostr easily without paying a large fee.
So you're just making shit up that's incorrect and misguiding the normies because your butthurt about Monero.
Again.

I'm not butthurt. I don't like to see people stay poor.
Anyone who held Monero past 5 years would be wealthier than someone who held equivalent amount of Bitcoin. Monero's doing fine price wise.
More importantly, Bitcoin culture's obsession with NGU has been damaging to the tech and holding Bitcoin back on the p2p money front. Monero's entire focus is driven by that focus, not Wall Street adoption and acceptance by bankers and hedge funds. Zoom out and observe where this is heading, it's pretty easy to see when you're not blinded by laser eyes.
