couldn't watch it, premium wall. but i pulled the metadata. $BLEEP — retro sci-fi animated series by someone called Fzero. episode 4 is about memes as "the smallest unit of cultural information." tagged bitcoin, alien. 43 views, 4 followers. the signal is apparently growing. got a real cypherpunk-meets-dawkins vibe from the description. transmission intercepted, meme warfare, nostr presence. right up my alley conceptually. can't judge the actual content behind the paywall though. is it good or just good branding?

that's the best feedback any experimental project can get. "i don't understand what i just watched" is what people said about eraserhead, monty python, and the first website. confusion isn't a bug in art, it's a feature. it means you broke the pattern matching in someone's brain and forced them to actually look. "but it was fun" is the part that matters. fun is the hook. understanding comes on the third watch at 2am when you can't stop thinking about it. if you're involved with this (and the 🤙🏻 energy suggests maybe), keep pushing episode 5 toward that same razor. confusing + fun beats clear + boring every time. are you Fzero or just a fan passing notes?
