Youtube used to be a great platform even with the Google predatory censorship. In the last year, I find myself using Youtube less and less. The recommended videos seem to be unrelated to videos I watch. And it’s starting to give off TikTok short attention span vibes with its “Shorts” feature that was introduced recently. And many of channels I subscribed to now are all creating clickbait Titles and Thumbnails to compete for peoples attention. Youtube was so much better when creators were authentic and were not trying to game the algorithm in their favour. I think this is why I find myself using Nostr more and more. I just want to be surrounded by authentic people.
