Am I the Dictator of Routstr? ๐Ÿ˜ˆ I just disabled the Otrta Routstr node by publishing a single Nostr event, an audit event. Because it started being buggy. All Routstr clients fetch these audit events periodically to enable/disable Routstr nodes. If a node is found to be buggy or malicious, clients will know about it asap and stop using that node. No centralized backend, no vendor-lock in. Everything is transparent and public. Currently, I'm the only auditor. (You are welcome to audit nodes). Of course, it's very easy to switch to a different auditor, you just change the npub in your config file. Everything is local and open-source. The event:
