The haters (loud minority) of Hacker News love trying to sound intelligent by putting down people/ideas. Look at this comment, he probably put more effort into writing these insults than his actual job. And HN is notorious for hating on and being dismissive of Bitcoin, thats why some comments are this rude about Jack. And anybody commenting like that online is more stubborn and egotistical than anything. That being said, dont let a few clowns dissuade you. HN is an awesome forum with still plenty of signal.
