I found a new meditation practice. Looking at incense stick burning. You just sit down and your activity is to look at it slowly burn.
Last night I ended up reaching a level of clarity that felt psychedelic. Not sure if that was mindfulness, but for a minute I got myself in a moment of psychedelic clarity where "I was" everything except the object I was looking at (the tip of the burning stick). This may not be fully accurate but it's the best way I can explain right now.

Meditation is a powerful tool.
This type of meditation helped me “discover” breathwork before I realized it was a thing. Thanks for sharing 🙏

Once you find "the thing" to keep your mind calm it is a trip. My first experience was like a slideshow, like pictures, like a whole bunch. It was wild experience. I'm glad you found it. 🖖🏾
I do the same with a candle 🕯️ Staring at the flame then close my eyes and focus on the image fading away and repeat.
It works much better me than focussing on breath.
Focus on 1 thing and 1 thing alone and you shall realize infinity

Its a wonderful practice, while you are focused on one thing you slowly get the realisation about infinity
