we could drop the dns and get away with using bare IP addresses, but that would be a painful hack. we'd end up with people camping on easily remembered IP addresses recapitulating DNS inside nostr. hmm.

IP addresses are still issued from a top-down authority at some stage, but KYC is probably the primary issue there. Having them issuable without any form of identity tied to them (or at least obfuscating it as much as possible) would be the gold standard. cc @k03rader @Arjen
