But why would that be the case if you’re using the same media storage endpoint?
That's a great question and I wish I had an answer. What I do know is when I attempted to upload a large video using Primal it wouldn't allow it without an upgrade.
When I used Amethyst it worked.

OK so that’s helpful. Primal has its own default media host, with file size and storage limits for free accounts that are probably different than the defaults of other hosting services. Videos, especially when uncompressed, are bandwidth and storage intensive. Check in your Amethyst settings, and see what media host it’s using, for example nostr.build. They also have limits for the free service, but you might not have hit them yet.

I prefer to have more control over my media files so I have a nostr.build paid subscription that removes most of the limits. I replaced the Primal media host with this, and use it in every client so I don’t have to wonder where things are being uploaded to.
