No?!? I need to revisit. I ended up putting Ubuntu Studio on my daily driver (rarely use for audio, still very tied to Mac OS there unfortunately) but I loved the whole vibe they were coming with. I may well try at some point, still got quite a few tasks to get through for my next release, although finally solved the RSS issue I was having so I can safely move to my next tech drama lol.

Ubuntu Studio is a great gateway to the heavy stuff! You should have a look at the LSP suit of plugins some time. Pretty sure they're included in US. With your skills and their quality, I can barely imagine where that sound would be going! And if (let's face it: WHEN) you pull that off, you won't only be creating precedents, you'll be free from the Mac rent!
