idk i got a participation prize once as a kid and i fucking cried it felt awful. i think a lot of the trophies were just so parents didnt have to admit their kid wasnt special tbh

went to a school for dyslexia in 5th and 6th grade and the awards ceremonies, that happened semesterly latest like 3 hours 😂 and everyone knew 99% of the awards were bullshit.
