good is probably not the optimal word. Lightning is fine. But it has major problems as a solution for regular people sending bitcoin fast and cheap without a custodian. A trickle up effect of liquidity. Lighting can be glue in the infra and it's good for that. But it is not a cheap payment rail for a pleb unless you give up your sovereignty.
