This podcast is a great intro to biochar. I have just listened, but the video may be more helpful. Living web farms YouTube channel has a bunch of good free content. Pretty in depth courses or video of a demonstration day. They are a major producer of biochar, it is fun to see the different ways they use the waste heat.
