As someone who has actually been in mafia and left, الحمد لله, I'd like to say that it's kind of true. Even if you manage to leave, it kind of sticks with you, even if you've been out for a while. You'll never forget some of the lessons you've learnt. Sometimes, you still behave like you have the benefactors you once had. Like a vestige.
