many purposes. sending an encrypted message to someone else or receiving one from someone else, or signing a non-encrypted message. for example you can sign a non-encrypted text with your email, nostr public key, whatever [username] on [whatever service] that way through the history of usage it's easy to be connected in a sea of anonymity.

Encrypt your files, or stack a double encryption mode - pgp+7zip password - Get a yubikey and use it with pgp and 2 factor authentication. Make a wot party 😹

I think I'll try single encryption first before I start the party. But I could, have two yubikeys laying in my desk😂
