Tell me why all of South America basically runs on WhatsApp? In all other places you find people maintaining 3 or more different messengers.

I didn’t know that, that’s weird! They don’t even use Signal?
I think it's just a habit, my friend. The app was introduced very quickly, and there was a lot of prior Facebook use here.
